Pure Whipped Tallow

This tallow is my basic tallow recipe. It can be used as a moisturizer in your skincare routine, as a body lotion, or to spot treat skin conditions.
I do not add anything to cover the natural fragrance, so your tallow balm may have a slight earthy/beef smell. This is normal and will quickly dissipate after application.

Ingredients and benefits:
Grass-fed/grass-finished tallow- I source my tallow from a farm 30 minutes from my home in NC. After rendering the tallow I purify it 2-3 times before adding the oils in. Tallow is very similar to the sebum found on our skin. It is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K, which absorb easily and stimulate collagen production and skin cell renewal. These vitamins also deliver antioxidants to shield the skin from free radical damage and prevent signs of aging.

Jojoba oil- has a high vitamin E content. It softens and smooths dry skin, prevents flakiness, and improves skin elasticity.

Olive oil- supports the skin’s moisture retention and increases the skin’s capacity to absorb and retain water.

Beeswax-hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin
