Signature Whipped Tallow

The signature tallow was the first recipe I made! It has the same ingredients as the pure tallow, with a few added essential oils. It can be used as a moisturizer in your skincare routine, as a body lotion, or to spot treat.

Ingredients and benefits:
Grass-fed/grass-finished tallow- I source my tallow from a farm 30 minutes from my home in NC. After rendering the tallow I purify it 2-3 times before adding the remaining ingredients  in. Tallow is very similar to the sebum found on our skin. It is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K, which absorb easily and stimulate collagen production and skin cell renewal. These vitamins also deliver antioxidants to shield the skin from free radical damage and prevent signs of aging.

Jojoba oil- has a high vitamin E content. It softens and smooths dry skin, prevents flakiness, and improves skin elasticity.

Olive oil- supports the skin’s moisture retention and increases the skin’s capacity to absorb and retain water.

Lavender oil- aids in evening skin tone, and reduces discoloration including dark spots.

Frankincense oil- is known for its anti-aging properties. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

Ylang-ylang oil- is both antiseptic and contains anti-inflammatory properties, because of this, it is used to treat acne, wounds, eczema, and other skin irritations.

Beeswax-hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin.
