Tallow Deodorant

Many store bought deodorants contain harmful chemicals that are absorbed through the thin skin of the underarms. This tallow deodorant is free of any harmful chemicals. If you are afraid of switching over, you can do an underarm detox with bentonite clay to help you adjust.

Ingredients and benefits:
Grass-fed/grass-finished tallow- I source my tallow from a farm 30 minutes from my home in NC. After rendering the tallow I purify it 2-3 times before adding the remaining ingredients in. Tallow is very similar to the sebum found on our skin. It is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K, which absorb easily and stimulate collagen production and skin cell renewal. These vitamins also deliver antioxidants to shield the skin from free radical damage.

Organic arrowroot powder-very absorptive in nature and works really well to pull out odors.

Baking soda -works to remove smells while also having a drying effect.

Beeswax-helps give the deodorant a firmer texture and hold everything together so the oils don’t separate.

Organic virgin coconut oil-naturally antibacterial and antifungal while also being soothing to skin.

Organic bergamot essential oil-prevents the growth of bacteria and soothes redness and irritation.

Organic lime essential oil-reduces inflammation and reduces the appearance of dark spots.
