Clarifying Tallow Mask

The clarifying tallow mask is for anyone who suffers from acne or any other type of breakout. This tallow mask can also double as a daily cleanser. In fact, oil cleansing is so much better for your skin than soap because it doesn't strip your skin of its natural protective barrier. 

Ingredients and benefits:
Grass-fed/grass-finished tallow- I source my tallow from a farm right 30 minutes from my home in NC. After rendering the tallow I purify it 2-3 times before adding the remaining ingredients in. Tallow is very similar to the sebum found on our skin. It is rich in fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E & K, which absorb easily and stimulate collagen production and skin cell renewal. These vitamins also deliver antioxidants to shield the skin from free radical damage and prevent signs of aging.

Jojoba oil- has a high vitamin E content. It softens and smooths dry skin, prevents flakiness, and improves skin elasticity.

Sweet almond oil- helps combat free radicals and may promote a youthful and vibrant appearance in your skin.

Spirulina-this superfood works wonders on dull and congested skin as it gently detoxifies and encourages cell renewal. By supporting the shedding of dead skin cells, it helps to maintain a healthy, lit-from-within glow.

Kaolin clay- because of its unique molecular structure, kaolin has the ability to absorb deep-seated impurities like dirt, grime and pollution. It gives skin a deep cleanse — however, unlike some other clays, it doesn't dry out the skin.

Tea tree oil- breaks down oils and buildup on your face. Tea tree oil also helps reduce, manage, and prevent acne.

Beeswax-hydrates, conditions, soothes, and calms the skin.
